What Does it mean to Finish Strong?
1. What is incomplete will become complete.
Finishing Strong talks about a happy ending: Isaiah 3:10
In the Christian faith, it is how you end, not finish: Numbers 13:1-2
Characteristics of Finishing Strong
1. A race that was set before us. We are all in different races: Psalm 65:11 - We must run the race designed by God, not man. Only God can see you through.
3. The race is individualistic. You must determine to end well.
4. The race is heart-based: Proverbs 4:23
5. Our goal is to reach the finish line: 2 Timothy 4:7-8
How to finish Strong?
1. Fight the good fight of faith: 1 Timothy 6:12 - It takes vision to end well.
2. Your eyes must be focused on Jesus: Hebrews 12:2
What to look for on why we will finish strong
Philipians 1:6; Jude 1:24
God takes the initiative in starting the race: God took the first move. He has never failed
God takes personal responsibility
God guarantees the ultimate outcome
