Main Text: Isaiah 50:7
7 Because the Sovereign Lord helps me,
I will not be disgraced.
Therefore have I set my face like flint,
and I know I will not be put to shame.
Topic: Help Cometh
Ministering Pastor (Mr.) Francis Tekobo
When we don't embark on God's strategy, help will be far from us
Scripture Reading
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
6 Surely you need guidance to wage war,
and victory is won through many advisers.
14 For lack of guidance a nation falls,
but victory is won through many advisers.
2 Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is near Beth Aven to the east of Bethel, and told them, “Go up and spy out the region.” So the men went up and spied out Ai.
3 When they returned to Joshua, they said, “Not all the army will have to go up against Ai. Send two or three thousand men to take it and do not weary the whole army, for only a few people live there.” 4 So about three thousand went up; but they were routed by the men of Ai, 5 who killed about thirty-six of them. They chased the Israelites from the city gate as far as the stone quarries and struck them down on the slopes. At this the hearts of the people melted in fear and became like water.
6 Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.
2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”
6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it.” 7 And he ordered the army, “Advance! March around the city, with an armed guard going ahead of the ark of the Lord.”
8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant followed them.
24 One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
Divine Helpers
Who are the divine helpers?
They ask, how may I help you.
Facts you must understand about Destiny Helpers:
- Destiny helpers are people God has put in place for you to fulfill your purpose
- They can physical or spiritual
- They can be faraway or equally near to you
- They can be old, young, rich, and poor
- They are not your God; not your source
- They must not be worshipped
- They must not take the place of God in your life
- The Devil will want to stop your destiny helpers
- They are there to assist you to the next level
- You must also make yourself a destiny helper for others too
Psalm 41:1-2

Quote of the Day (Recap):
Our needs are complex but the solution is not complex, to God and there are challenges that accompany you as you move upwards. Any help that is not present doesn’t add value. - Pastor Francis Tekobo
